they opened with A Beginning Song when i saw them this summer. it ruled. i didnt expect this album to be as good as it is in a live setting. Anti-summersong was way better in concert.

I totally forgot about this one. I listened to it a lot for about a month.

I like reminding myself how lovely this album is. Lake Song is probably one of my favourite songs from 2015.

still haven't gotten around to this. The last two releases just killed this band for me. Hopefully this is as creative or thematic as picaresque or crane wife.

Unfortunately for you this is much more in the vein of The King Is Dead, which is my favorite Decemberists album. I honestly don't understand the hate that that one and The Hazards of Love get, they're some of my favorites by them.
