this album's a lot weirder than the World of violence demos imo if i'm remembering them correctly.

i really need to relisten to those, but this is definitely more nuanced and full of personality.

Worms of the Earth is indeed awesome. A little short but a great track.

I've been searching high and low, yet I still can't find anything that manages to even come close to this album. Now, I'm not really trying to compare others to this and there have been some promising ones (namely Glassjaw, Thrice and Deftones among others), but sadly, I soon realized that they're no match at all - at least not in my eyes. Though I'm not fooling myself into believing that something as unique as this could be reproduced (nor would I want to), I still hope that someday I'll come across something..

P.S.: This may sound like I idolize the album, and... Well, I'm afraid that's the case indeed.

i adore this album but the glassjaw influence is enormous, i'm surprised you don't deem them as a match.

also holy shit i haven't heard worms of the earth in half a decade, cheers to y'all for the reminder.

I heard that Worms of the Earth has the most Glassjaw influence.

I don't know, I only heard of them after listening to this album. The vocals are great, but for me SHTS is far superior instrumentally than EYEWTKAS or WaT.

Thanks for the reply DirEnRefused, I'll definitely check out snapcase.
