Built a house up on that ass, thats an ass state
Roll my weed on it, thats an ass tray

"look how unbiased/open-minded we are, we can rate pop albums highly"

Not saying this is bad, haven't heard it. But that seems to be the trend lately lol

I kind of doubt every pop album to come out in the last month or two is actually 4.0+ worthy

i don't think people are giving pop albums good ratings specifically with the intention of appearing open-minded. idk, i think this is just a reaction to the 25+ years of music elitists acting like pop is the worst thing ever, not giving it a chance, and using music more like a social-status tool.

that, and also the fact that some pop artists recently have really made good albums, like idk grimes, maybe justin timberlake, etc. or maybe the explosion of j-pop and k-pop. the hate they receive is unwarranted sometimes and as a reaction people here are more open to it.

but i should add that i kind of agree with you, i doubt all of the critically-acclaimed pop albums here actually deserve it, it's starting to look like they're faking / forcing their love for them.

also, indie pop and r&b (which has been tied to mainstream pop for a while now). some great r&b albums have been release lately, which also contributes to this pop-craze (?)

Dreadful album title. There's no way I'm sitting through a Nicki Minaj album ... Unless they make a music video for every song that is
