Initially I was disappointed from the first sit down I had with this. Listened to it a few more times since and its gotten better every time. Still not up there with OLG, Juturna or Violent Waves for me, but definitely on that BSN level.

I know a lot of you absolutely adored BSN but it just didn't give me the same feels I got from the other 3. I still loved it, just didn't have the vibe I was looking for. Descensus is right there with it.

Don't care for this at all on first listen, pretty sure the only thing I'll ever like by this band is BSN

yeah hopefully it grows on you. Blue Sky Noise was the only Circa Survive album I loved until this one came along.

I never really loved Circa until hearing this and now they've really grown on me.

To me their sound is getting stale and descensus is a little redundant alongside their discog, as with violent waves. But a bands gotta make music. Ive also considered this as a fully-realized On Letting Go.

Yeah, OLG is my favorite Circa and this is my least favorite currently. There are parts that sound like OLG, like one song reminded me a lot of a misguided Mandala, but I don't see much other than that.

I listend to this 3 times so far and i would say it's better than their last 3 albums. Not on the level of Juturna, but that one of my all time favorites.

The only song I really don't like is Schema. Ive always preffered their slow to midtempo material.

This is the definition of generic radio rock

Umm no, it's not. Putting this in the same category as Nickelback is absurd.

If this is radio rock then I'd have the radio on a hell of a lot more.

The radio might actually be worth turning on once in a while if they ever played Circa. But they don't. So that statement goes into the vault of ridiculous opinions.

The only radio station worth listening to where I live is the independent station, which is awesome and plays GY!BE and such, and the jazz station.
