Honestly, this sounds like 8 tracks they rejected from the next full-length they're working on. This is a companion piece to a TV show and can't stand on its own. For the sake of the Foo's discography I'm not considering this a true album.

Hopefully theyll release that new album they're writing soon and we can all forget this hiccup.

Mall, there's a Sonic Highways series on HBO about the album that explains the songs and the band's process.

This is the first time I've actually like a Foo Fighters album, and I love it!

Just couldn't get into it, I'll definitely listen to it again now that I've enjoyed this so much. I'm not a fan of grunge and this isn't grunge at all.

Oh fuck yea... totally agree.

Anyway this is usual foo stuff which to me is pretty boring, except for Wasting Light. That had some good songs on it.
