Gonna listen to it tonight. Everyone said the first single sucked and it lowered my expectations so much that I ended up enjoying it fine. I bet same thing is gonna happen.

Watchers is one of my favorite metal albums of all time. Extremely disapponted it’s gonna be followed by this generic drek.

Yeah, it sounded like some cool leads were being played over the chugging in Survivalist, but i could hardly hear it. As a professional producer, how do you fuck up that bad, i really want to know what was going through his head.

New album is gonna be a dud but I bet there's gonna be at least 3 songs on there that'll be amazing. Well at least thats what I'm hoping. Its hard to think these guys could put out a 100% trash album.

It's a bit odd how this band keeps reinventing themselves, the last several albums have sounded so different from each other.

SITL had lots of clean singing and even piano parts. This album has 0 cleans and is very fast and thrashy. This new one sounds like it's going to be more nu-metalcore. They definitely have not been pumping out the same album over and over like a lot of bands.

The clean singing sucked though, and even though cleans might be sort of a new thing for them, its hardly an interesting addition. Every metalcore band goes that route eventually. And yeah, this album is heavier and faster overall, but theyve already had songs like these on other albums. Same with the new singles.

Fair enough, I liked the cleans and that album overall. It was a really dynamic mix of metalcore, melodeath, alt and groove metal but it was a really heads-up move to get rid of the cleans for this record.

Yeah, i was afraid they were gonna start going the way of All That Remains, glad they decided to up the intensity instead.

ok wowww survivalist was awful. the riffs are bland and what are those vocals?? dude sounds like he's on his deathbed. i can't believe this but the new ATR song is much better. what year is it again..?
