yeah hilarious thread, kind of on the fence of the debate. It's obvious that the internet and reviews in general are not the place to go for self-indulgent literacy, or at least the kind that has run-on sentences. But that doesn't necessarily mean it's "bad". It's only "bad" by the standard you put on it. If Dostoevsky submitted a piece of writing to this website what would be the general consensus? A lot of people would tell him he's too neurotic, he's not giving enough attention to his readers, he's long-winded and that he needs to rework his style. But it was his style that people came to know and love. It was objectively good to read in the context of a novel.
I'm not necessarily saying this guy's writing has the same flow and genius of a Dostoevsky and I agree that there is a good deal in truth in saying his style goes against agreed principles of writing. But. I don't find it as objectionable as most of you do. I think the real crime on this website is people crowning certain reviewers who are just out-and-out boring. I'd rather read this then a lot of other people here. And look what it has resulted in. This is fucking hilarious.

dude probably plagiarized this review anyway
|

agreed w/Piglet
|
| |
Man, how annoying piglet was. What a little bitch.. Always held Pooh back from doing normal bear shit.
|
| |
excellent point from piglet. I didn't like this review (didn't neg it though) but people are overreacting a bit

Agreed hard; this review is horribly bloated but not as awful as has been implied

i read the first paragraph and it was exhausting to read it. most of the criticism towards this review is directed to the fact that he does absolutely nothing to improve his writing style. haven't been able to read any of his reviews even though i've really tried to do so
