Accidentally got a drink with these guys with a mate who was in a local black metal band who knew them when I was at uni (they were from the next town over) and talked about bands they loved.

Hadn't ever heard the band until recently though and they are way better than I thought. Expected some cool but v 'local' sounding band damn I was wrong

Nope not at the time - was like 4 years ago now, but I know the guys just don't want to - anxiety reasons mean it just wouldn't be fun for them

@JS19: that's awesome man. Yeah these guys sound way more 'professional' than I expected considering they were self-releasing albums & only had a two-man set-up, I mean it can be done (clearly) but they definitely deserve credit for the quality of their material.

Edit: I read the interview & it sounds as though they were entertaining the idea of eventually playing live, or perhaps more accurately would like to in an ideal world.

yeah man...i mean...i'm not asking for a tour...my main issue here is just: Anxieties apart, can they do it!? ehehe It would be awesome if they could.

New album has more votes than Born of Slime already, that's awesome but also hoping more people check the earlier stuff now...

Also, where's that review at? (Whoever's doing it).

I was actually hoping/thinking it might be you Scuro, no pressure but I really enjoyed your last Slugdge review & was anticipating you'd slap a nice juicy score on the new one (although maybe not).

I'll do it if no one else does, but it'll be a in a few days at the earliest, still finishing off this Drudkh one (spoiler, it's great).

I snagged that a while back, are they still giving it away? Wow. I know the label re-released them as a CD boxset for a more than reasonable price.

Album slugs hard.

The title track, Lettuce Prey and The Sound of Mucus are among their best songs.
