Chevelle are a bit like an alt metal Everything Everything.
They arrived a little too late to be successful in their genre/scene, they have a relatively small but very loyal fanbase, they have a really strong ear for melody and can write endlessly good hooks, they can be quite ambitious with their album concepts and they have a frontman whose unique vocals and intonation can be off-putting for some people.
Who asked? Precisely nobody.
