I kinda lost all interest in this band after Minutes to Midnight. I'm convinced Shinoda is the only one with any talent at all, and it seems like they've been stifling him since Meteora.

I actually really like Until it's gone. It's pretty funny how they tried different lyrical styles on this, but they still either end up being bland or straight bad. At least the music is great

Verm, if you want constructive criticism then read the fucking review.
The band attempted to be "experimental" and just couldn't pull it off, reason why their last three
albums, even though commercially successful are absolute rubbish.
Returning to their "roots" may sound like a good idea but it isn't, their teen angst days (which you
are clearly not over yet) are long gone and now they sound like petulant farts. The album is a mess,
laughable at best.

The only members with any talent in this band are Mike, Brad and Rob, the latter being a recent discovery.



That said, I don't know who the fuck writes the lyrics, but he shouldn't be involved on the next album.

Wow saying Chester has no talent is taking it way too far tbh. He's not as great hear due to age probably but his voice has always been great to me, even on LT and MTM.

He might be able to sing, but his song writing is pretty terrible.



He penned most of the lyrics on the new STP, and they're pretty gruesome. The music is piss poor as well.

I agree with Mongi on that one, the guy can sing, heck, the band deliver some catchy tunes here and there but in no way they are great musicians, not as people make them to be or even what they think they are (they are petulant farts after all).

I really dislike this band for that sole reason: their music is harmless and can't fuck with the zenith they try to get into with each album, if that makes sense.

I really like the guitar work on this album and their drummer finally gets a chance to show his talent a bit. But yea, they're totally not masterful musicians. The lyrics on this may be horrible too, but still kinda catchy in a strange way idk haha
