And the fact that people rate this turd DG dropped higher than Yeezus just tells you how far gone some people are with trying to fit in and have the coolest opinion around.
DG have made it big with their sound, and they did make some catchy songs and a very GOOD song but that's it. Giving 5/5 to everything they release 24 hours after you first heard it even though it is clear they have barely put any effort in it is laughable at best.
And don't get me started on the straight up DEAF people who say Yeezus copies Death Grips.
How DEAF can you be to draw comparisons like that. Your knowledge of experimental and rap music must be as limited as it gets to arrive at the conclusion that Yeezus, of all things, listened to a Death Grips album and decided to copy them.
Goodnight plebs.

I did not notice the 'rape' line in the review, that is actually incredibly demeaning and you should probably change that

I'm listening for the second time and I just don't find this as exciting as previous releases.

The production is great. It's mostly MC Ride I think.

He's not as (constantly) aggressive here, but his flow has improved drastically. He incorporates more vocal styles now too.

Maybe that line is in slightly poor taste, but it makes sense.

Dropped my rating to a 4.5. Listening to The Money Store again made me realize that although this is very good, it does have it's flaws: Bjork's harmonious vocals and melodic hold cover it up well but it starts to get evident after some time that the agression isn't nearly here like it is in other DG releases. MC Ride doesn't screamed here, and this hasn't got one groove that makes me stomp my foot on the floor, like "Stockton", or "Lost Boys", or "Hustle Bones", or "The Cage". Dunno, guess I'll rewrite my review.

Grinder noooooo!!!
I'm just kidding. You can change your opinion. I don't know if this will stay a 5 for me or not, but it feels that way right now. I don't think you have to rewrite your review though. Maybe take that infamous line out (itsuptoyoubuddd).

I don't see how a comparative lack of aggression equates a decline in quality; rather, doesn't it indicate that they have in fact progressed artistically?

It's not like this is laid back anyway. They have a few more chill parts now. It gives them dynamic.

exactly man, loving the greater use of contrast as opposed to the non-stop auditory assault of the money store

Well, The Money Store was my favorite until this. But I think this bests it.

I've listened to this and The Money Store, so I guess I should just work my way through their discog chronologically from here?
