Yeah good plan. I just don't have like 3 hours to kill.

But I'll get around to this.

Yeah, I think I prefer The Seer

This is more consistent and diverse, but I prefer The Seer's personality, it was just so dark and elemental

I really dig the wackiness here but it doesn't add up to a singular identity like Seer did

The Seer totally had a black-magic-voodoo vibe are you kidding, check out the coda of the title track or almost any of the percussion

Agreed many of the tracks on The Seer gave me the feeling of being stuck in the wilderness with some sort of strange cult.

Mother of the World and Avatar both had a pretty primal feeling to them, Avatar especially and MoTW was more primordial, beginning of the world feeling-y than anything. I'm not sure I would call them "tribal" though.

actually this is nowhere near as consistent as the seer. the seer very much felt like an album whereas this seem much more like a collection of cool tracks

i've 'checked out' the entire album multiple times are you kidding??!?! (mockingly)

having non-kit percussion =/= tribal nor does nonsensical bullshit lyrics, of course, if those are the vibes it gives you
thats all subjective and neat-o and stuff but its not that tribal for me personally

Agreed with the album vs bunch of tracks comment, I meant this has stronger individual songs but they don't add up to something nearly as singular

total Kid A vs Amnesiac situation

I definitely hear the wacky 90s alt metal thing (though my mind went to Primus)
