This is seriously bad, they took every cringe worthy song from their discography and threw it in a blender.
Here's hoping Ross Robinson can help them rebound. Although I haven't really loved anything they've done in a while anyway but have been jamming their discography lately

Bonus points for hiding the Lies for the Liars weirdo blockhead mascot on the cover art though (who, fun fact, is actually named Chadam Mihlberger).

Album Rating: 1.0
that’s the one where he says stuff about like “a song” being able to do stuff right? ugh
revolution is the closest thing to a good song here and its a 2.5 at best

Album Rating: 2.5
Lol so true. Revolution's kind of a banger yeah
Cry, Evolution, and Imaginary Enemy can be guilty pleasures for me on this

cry could have been salvageable if the chorus wasn’t “CRYYYY-AY-AAAAAAY-AAAY”. can’t even remember the other two
the first three, shallow believer, artwork and the canyon have been in my rotation frequently lately so ive lately been more open to forgive the band’s shortcomings but this album is the culmination of all the used’s problems as songwriters (mostly concerning the lyrics) and especially all of john feldman’s problems as a producer

Feldmann was the best thing that never happened to The Canyon.
Even coming off from by-the-numbers Vulnerable, Imaginary Enemy still sounded so complacent. Now with The Canyon released, I'm not sure where they were trying to go with their sound on this one. More ballad-y? More mid-tempo shit? I dunno. Kind of sounds like they tried to please everyone but ended up pleasing no one.
Making The Canyon was exactly what they needed to do next in their career. Album rules.

yea i don’t particularly like vulnerable but it certainly beats this. This just has nothing worth coming back to and is either boring and bland or offensive (or both in the case of kenna song)
plus i come alive is a hard jam
