My biggest problem is that Vedder just sounds like he's muttering all of the lyrics on literally every song on here and that the second half of the album is pretty forgettable except for like "Deep" because of that cool guitar part. But hey keep telling me I'm wrong without explaining why.

People can love this if they want to Arcade. The "hivemind mentally comment" wasn't directed at everyone in this thread who rated this highly, It was actually just directed at you since you started spewing objective nonsense as soon as you saw that Hep Kat shared your opinion after I criticized the album.
Reasonable people should be able to consider criticism of an album they love without pulling out the "sorry this album is objectively perfect and you're a dumbass for disagreeing" defense, that's really just unrelenting and hard to prove, but easy to shove down people's throats.
I find it hard to appreciate objective statements like "you'd be wrong" when I go out of my way to be subjective all of the time on this site. I'm just tired of people trying to tell me there's a right and wrong way to feel about an album, it's dumb and contradicts the fact that music is art and while art has objective qualities, the appreciation of art is subjective. This is why bands we all consider shitty still have fans.

Quality-wise, Vitalogy isn't close to this. Most of the songs on Vitalogy are fantastic. But tracks like Bugs, Stupid Mop, & Pry,To just bring it down a little bit.
