When the band released their video for "Would You Still Be There" I realized that the torrent I had for this had a totally different song under that title, that I still can't track down. I think Spotify even has the torrent version. It's really fucked up. The actual song is the best on the album, just cuz of how catchy it is.

Well the itunes tracks have the version from the music video, but I'm not actually missing any songs and none of them are copied onto the torrent twice under different names. It's weird.

I'm just really curious what song is masquerading as "Would You Still Be There" in torrents. The difference is pretty substantial. The real song is easily a .5 bump up for this album tbh.

Honestly The Flood isn't as great imo as everyone says it is. Still hard 3.5 bordering on a 4 but it's still a fairly generic metalcore album. The cleans were the most original part.

Carlile's vocals are good on that album but his style is still not my usual taste.



Also I was fanboying hard on AA's Reckless and Relentless at the time, and being a dick by saying all other metalcore sucked by comparison.

man titan you just have really odd opinions on metalcore topics from what I can tell, like the whole "metalcore doesn't get hate" thing from my Texas in July thread. Not being mean, just observing. The Flood has been praised insanely since its release, at least by magazines and the scene, not necessarily the elitists online but even they gave it more support than most of OMAM's ilk.
