I still like Russian Circles. Russian Circles are just incredibly dramatic, if they were classical

music they'd be something like Wagner or Holst. The entire dynamic they go for is hard contrast to

accentuate their moods and recurring motifs.

I know Famine's comment is tongue in cheek but there are peeps who actually think like that. As incredulous as it may sound to them, you can actually enjoy both Peste Noire and Alcest's fairy dust WHOA

I've had this for a week now and all I ever get from it is 'sleepy-time-behind-the-wheel-and-almost-drive-off-the-road' kind of vibe. The album floats with the same dynamic throughout and offers nothing in the way of contrast (which I loved about Neige's previous work). He went all in with this and made a boring ass album.
