It's def his best album but I think they're all good. The one after this leans on a more minimal/techno type vibe. I do wish he would revisit this acid era though even just for an EP

Need to check the new one. My friend said he's on a shoegaze type vibe

This new album is a mixed bag, not sure what to make out of it. Some songs are great, some mediocre and some pretty bad. Like Rapture in Blue is terribly cheesy pop, Haze tries too hard to be a party anthem (but strangely, the follow-up A Silent Shadow is excellent), and the shoegazey vibe of In Keeping... is simply annoying, basically a Whirr song with bad vox. But the last 3 tracks are really great. New Life is just ok, but sounds like a fake memory from 1998 (sitting stoned in front of the TV at 4am), so it's actually good.
