I didn't like the screaming in Conversation Piece, especially with all of the upbeat sections. But with this album he fits in perfectly. In fact, he makes this album.



I can understand how the spoken word rubs off as pretentiousness only if you don't believe in what he's saying. The lyrics come off as honest to me though (even if I can't relate well to them).
