i don't wanna rate this yet because i'm scared that someone will cut me or SOMETHING but like for her age i feel like her aesthetic is remarkably well defined??? like, you get young musicians with talent often enough, but her lyricism is sharp if not necessarily outstanding to everyone, her music sits comfortably in a consistently minimal indie pop territory that a lot of peeps wouldn't necessarily want to head towards in her situation, and aside from royals which seems really divisive, it's really difficult to say anything here is REALLY WEAK. lacking you could probably argue but everything sounds of a singular voice and it certainly feels like thought was put into this. i dunno, i really don't get the vitriol i'm seeing. i don't think it's grown on me enough to five it but it's cool for what it is y'all.
