"Tbh 'Hug and Pint', 'Red Thread' and 'Elephant Shoe' are all quite a drop from 'Phil' or the new one (or indeed 'The Most Important Place' and 'Everythings Getting Older"
For me the Red Thread is the next best album after Philo (with Mad for Sadness being my fave release). I don't like the new album, so I'm guessing if that takes after Aidan's solo work, then I won't like that either.
