pretty good release, most bands aren't able to keep this type of consistency in music. In some ways it's better than Fake History.

This production though, so fucking bad. I can barely listen to it. Even the tracks I like are ruined.
|
| |
Oh my fucking god shut the fuck up about the production already!
It's not even THAT bad at 320kbps. You can hear what's going on in each song perfectly. It's the way it's recorded and mastered that's crap. The mixing is quite good.
"i just can't get into this"
Yet you dig Misery Signals which I find a lot harder to get into. This is plain upbeat hardcore.

The only difference is absent light is actually really good. It isn't really so hard to get into to be
honest.
And yes it is that bad.

Yeah, the people who are condemning the record on the production alone, clearly haven't heard the CD rip. Yes, the production is unflattering. It's also not nearly as bad as people are making it out to be. I would know, I was shitting on this when that awful web rip went viral.
The only difference is absent light is actually really good.
People need to stop making statements like these.

There's really only a handful of good songs on here, none of which are better than anything off of Fake History

the only difference is that absent light is still really average.

The whinging on the production really is getting old. It's like... I get it. I get it. For God's sake.

i like this band's other album but this is terrible. the production is awful and YES IT REALLY IS THAT BAD if you actually know what good guitar tone sounds like. comparing this to misery signals is dumb because misery signals actually has good production and has more than one good album
the only difference is that absent light is still really average.
shut up cygy before i pap you

Hmmmm.

So I preordered this and finally started to listen to it today, gave up halfway through, boring.
|
| |
i seriously don't understand how anyone could enjoy an album that sounds this bad
i can barely enjoy any of the creative parts of it (lol) because i can't get over how hollow the guitar tone is, how bad the mix sounds, how bad the vocals overpower everything when they aren't even anything special, how much it sounds like they watered down their songwriting
i guess they're just a one album band
