It was mostly about Ben Shepherd's outlandish songwriting taking over the band and how Chris wanted to minimize the heaviness, which led to the Chris-Kim conflict. Ben eventually wrote nearly half of DOTU, which led to the Chris-Ben conflict. And then the band broke up and Matt Cameron got filthy rich touring with the most popular band on Earth.
