That 'UGH' at the beginning of the Changeling is epic.

Has some classic Doors in it, but also too much very good, but not special blues numbers. I mean, "Cars Hiss By My Window", "Crawling King Snake" (cover, but not great cover), "The Wasp" are all respectable and have the imprint of the group, but I wouldn't lose any sleep if someone were to delete them off the band's discography. "L'America" has a solid sinister riff, but the whole song is too dissonant (besides the mid-song break) for blues rock, but also not enough ugly or experimental for anything else.
Highlights are first three, L.A. Woman and of course the closer. "Been Down So Long", now THAT'S A GREAT blues track!

Second favorite is Strange Days but there isn't much among my top 3 honestly. Waiting for the Sun has its fair share of jams too.

Amazing album, quality opener. Riders is still irritating as hell though.
