@FlagAsh: According to Rolling Stone Sgt. Pepper is the greatest album ever made.

I just think Sgt. Pepper's has the best overall sound. The songs all go together so well.

7/10 of the top ten are from the '60s, Rolling Stone confirmed retirement home
|
| |
Yeah their list is goofy. Lots of great stuff of course, but not well balanced. If you look at it without the ranking it's better.

Rolling stone has sucked since the 80's they have not had an original or different thought since the mid 70's
|

Best Beatles, easily. No competition. This album has everything.
Abbey Road and Peppers are close. The rest are way off.

I'm thinking of reviewing this one since it doesn't have a review below a 3/5 (this is the only later-era Beatles album I'm not really a fan of)

This review is damn good, though. Nobody needs those lukewarm reviews.

why are people worried about what Rolling Stone says about the Beatles. They do not know music ,at least the last 20 years, and the establishment (places like Rolling Stone) always always overhype everything Beatles and Nirvana. I almost never pick Beatles albums in my top 5 or ten because it is cliche to do so, they are great albums from an influential band, but is every album better than everything else except a couple Stones albums, I don't think so, most Beatlers lie between top 3 and the 60 top albums, just like The first 6 of Sabbath, Zep, and many other bands with 4-5 albums on the list
