If that's the case then I'm surprised your rating is so low. Atmospheric and experimental electronic stuff is the bulk of LLF+D.

Not really. Jared's vocals ruin this, and a lot of it is generic af.

It's hardly a stellar album, shame because there were some cool ideas here

These last 2 albums needed more distortion, instead they wanted to recreate meedle and atom heart mother with shitty results.

They have some good ideas on this and TIW, thing is they aren't used properly.

I'd argue This Is War is the better of the two though. Even if it does have Kings and Queens..

Fuck that song. It's so disgustingly generic.

TIW has slowly grown on me over the years, there's so many great tracks on it. Problem is, songs like "Search and Destroy" kill the tone of the album. Also hate the band's use of crowd chants in their songs on this and TIW, does my nut in. haha

Search and Destroy is a strange track.. I literally can't remember anything else about it either.

Gang vocals are great when used sparingly. This Is War is a great track to show this, but the album just drenches itself in too much use of it.

Night of the Hunter still remains my all time favourite 30STM song though, it's fucking phenomenal.

My dream is to take all the people who ruined this is war (aka: echelon) and shut them up inside the Chernobyl's nuclear reactor. Happiness assured.

DUDE THE NEW SINGLE SOUNDS LIKE A DUBSTEP-POP CROSSOVER SONG, I'm done with this band since this is war, FUCK YOU JARED, I trusted in you, but you still want to follow Bjork's steps and you don't realise that YOU'RE NOT FUCKING BJORK.

The new single was written by Zedd.

That says enough.

New single is ass, agreed. The auto-tune saturating his voice is completely pointless and ruins even the faintest bit of enjoyment to be had from it.

Safe to say where this album's going to go.

Yup. I think I’ve finally hit my limit, I won’t bother with this release.
