Well, there we go!
MtB were most relevant in their Planet of Ice / Menos el Oso era, and their music wasn't like this at all. The two albums were based on atmosphere, whereas TTNG is all about the time signatures and crazy tapped guitar licks. I mean, there's a reason they're called math rock. And MtB is much more guitar-effects-driven, etc.
