I don't go into rap music focusing solely on lyrics. Beats/flow/hooks play a major part and if it catches my ear it catches my ear. I look at people who complain about lyrics sucking to be just like those who are all about guitar wankery. Being technical is cool and all but who fucking cares if it isn't catchy.
