Let me give a little update on the status of the new album:

Writing/Recording: DONE*

Orchestration: DONE (with the exception of a mockup of the overture on the 1st disk)

Mixing: Really really close. I just reamped the guitars this last week and things sound so much better so this won't take long.

*We have one more track we are adding to the 2nd disk which shouldn't take long.

Here is some more miscellaneous info on the album

- two disks

- around 95 minutes in length

- 16 tracks

- story takes place before Blessed He With Boils and Incultus

- some of the material in this album is as old as the band!

- its going to be pretty sick, get stoked

This bands artwork has always turned me off from checking out any of their music. I realized that I could be cheating myself out of something good so I'm finally going to give this a listen.

Ok, on the 4th song. It sounds like Carach Angren, mixed with Opeth, mixed with Ihsahn. Definitely all over the place, but it flows well and the transitions are pretty impressive. Not really for me though.

These are some of the most genuine, heartfelt dudes and their music certainly reflects that. I think they'll pull off the double album concept quite nicely although we shall see
