Fuck. The more I listen to "Needles and Pins", the more I like it. It just feels like it's missing... something. It ends with too little notice or closure. A re-released version would be neat. Those heavy chords at the beginning after he says "so blessed" are seductive.

Perhaps not as consistent as other Deftones but when a song hits the spot, it hits hard. A fav for sure, loving the darker, muddier and heavier tone on this.
^ I also need to listen to that song more often. Great riff and song.

This album has a very unique dark tone and feel throughout, Which is something i just love about it. While i think it could be a just little stronger overall it has some of my favorite songs by them.

Same here. One of their best openers/songs too. Can't go wrong with Hexagram, Needles and Pins, WGTB, Battle-Axe, Bloody Cape and Anniversary.

I don't really focus too much on the order of songs. Sure sometimes they flow better than others. I'm with you though, the flow is a bit inconsistent, yet curiously it feels shorter than 47 mins. to me.
