Gore Obsessed was poor, Vile was muddy as hell, any they had a serious identity crisis from Vile until they released Kill, where like 2-3 songs per album was good but most of it was mundane forgettable trash tbh

Vile is one of the best albums they have ever made.
I like The Wretched Spawn.
Not my favorite, but it's a great album.

I also think that Bloodthirst and Vile are among their strongest albums. I would say it differently: between the Bleeding and Bloodthirst they were actually still trying to do something with each album. since then it seems to be autopilot fan service to me.
Even though I have never been too much of a fan and have just heard individual songs here and there in the past 20 years.

I actually feel that most the albums from Vile through to Kill are just retreads of each other, then they reinvented themselves but have tried retreading that since (admittedly topping Kill at least once since then).
Bloodthirst starts off super strong, but the latter half is just mundane by-the-book for the most part to me, it's a 3
