d&d is one of my fave weezer songs tbh. would be perfect if it were longer and another solo

Well, you're not alone with that, I guess. Just a bit difficult with post-Pinkerton emotion, when it comes to Cuomo. Just can't take those ballads too serious.
On the other hand, The Damage In Your Heart was one of my Weezer favs since the first time I heard it. Don't know, maybe D&D is too dreamy for me.

the song is kind of meh i guess but it's the solo and specifically that guitar tone, so perfect
|

"Dope nose" is the best weezer song that's not on blue or pinkerton

But what the hell is the song about? I've been jamming this lately after getting into OK Human, and I can't comprehend what Dope Nose is talking about lol. Is Rivers the "fag of the year"?
|
| |
I think it's mostly nonsensical by design, but I think there's a thread of Rivers sort of coming to terms with his place in the general landscape post-Blue/Pinkerton...basically, I'm not going to worry about writing anything consequential anymore, I'm just going to write goofy pop songs. And yeah, I think that line is basically just playing on his non-masculine/nerdy frontman image

Best Weezer, gotta revisit sometime

Album Rating: 3.5
It’s def underrated. I’d say maybe 4th best Weezer.

It's correctly rated, unlike most of the rest of this band's discography
