If you knew what it wouldn't be, why would you still say 'hope'? That means you still think there's a chance.

Love this album, and i love COE even more tbqh. I love every song on COE, and this cd has radiant eclipse, which is boring as hell.

Chapter Four and Second Heartbeat are fucking amazing though, my two fav A7X songs of all time.

At least Mudvayne have L.D. 50, Avenged Sevenfold don't have a single release worthy of originality or simply good music in general. IMO it's generic crap.

After the initial appeal of a7x wears off, their whole appeal wears off.

My initial appeal hasnt worn off. Maybe its just my unique taste, but I honestly havent come across an album that sounds anything like this. As far as metalcore goes this is by far my favorite album. The riffs are as good as any other album Ive ever heard.

well, i wouldn't call it 'unique' by any means, but whatever.

Unique doesnt have to mean "good." A band can be uniquely bad. If youre a musician youd understand that for better or for worse, A7X is a unique band, with credit to the guitarists. I guess what I mean is that of all the metalcore out there none of it sounds close to this.

I really dont want to go off into a 4 page argument here, but Ill say this once. I never said in my last post they were "good" guitarists, I left my personal bias out that. Theyre approach to songwriting, however bad as you may think it is, is unique and unlike that of any given metalcore band. I, myself, really enjoy their ability on this album because it stands out amidst constant floods of absolutely awful metalcore acts. Maybe you think differently, but its impossible to deny that they did try something out of the norm on this album. Anybody who thinks its awful, I dont really care.

and yes, ive heard of death metal. Not a huge fan though.

The most interesting guitarwork I've heard from these guys was performed by Syn's dad. True story.
