Album Rating: 4.5
^Agreed. I'd probably rate this higher than that for the bookend tracks alone.

Fights with Larks for my favorite KC album honestly. Though I havent's jammed much KC in a long while. I should go on a binge. Maybe throwing inside some Tull too

I may join you in the KC binge. Sounds great. And yeah, this one is in to my top 3 KC records for sure.

Album Rating: 4.3
This is pretty underrated, not really lesser than the other records that came out around it.

as long as you acknowledge Boz Burrell as the true best KC vocalist, you are good to gooooo
(tho he really lets loose live, so the Plymouth, Denver and Detroit live recordings are essential, or if you want to be adventurous, listen to the Earthbound album - lo-fi for masochists)

I've heard good things about Earthbound, will have to check it out.

That whole instrumental build-up in the t/t with the lead trumpet playing is incredible, very proto-Talk Talk.

But...Ladies of the Road haha
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.3
The middle of this album has a few too many annoying parts for this to be a 5, like Ladies of the Road and The Letters, despite still being good songs. Sailor's Tale and Gulls are really great, and the opener and t/t are amazing.
