Well it's one of those albums where either people like it or hate it. In fact, that's practically Linkin Park in general.

Not gonna argue with that

The only song that I don't really like is Until It Breaks. It's just so confusing and trashy, I don't understand.

Yea agreed that song sucks. Everything is ok for the most part. Just not crazy about the most of dub used on this.

No thanks, you keep your virus, I have enough already.

ATS>this
Lol, at least this album doesn't abysmal tracks like fucking robot boy, fucking messenger and pointless intros. Interesting album but it has some annoying tracks ( skin to bone, lies greed misery)

The interludes aren't pointless. Tons of concept albums have them

What the fuck do you have against "Robot Boy"? It is better than most of their other songs.
|
| |
I know that, but those intros ( with the exception of the requiem and the radiance were pointless), is
not like in operation mindcrime where you have good intros, preludes and more ( example: electric
requiem, I remember now), shit like empty space and wisdom, justice and love didn't add something
trascendental to this work, also fallout seems a lazy instrumental and that's a notorious failure
considering that ATS was the album when mr hahn was an omnipresent member.

First uneccesary length, second hated the vocal work of this track ( really hated it )

I feel the opposite, but at least you explained it.

And that respectable, but I can't tolerate that track. And the matter is not cause I hate LP soft tracks, actually burning in the skies has a great progression and a good lyric

First half of this album is a total blast, loses momentum toward the end though.

Yeah, I dig the shit out of "Lies Greed Misery" but it does slowww down near the end.

Victimized is a terrible track. And someone needs to tell Mike to stick to composing, he's terrible at singing.

Do you think they will wind up doing another album? I heard this one did meh.

ATS destroys this so hard. This album sounds like a band who has lost their identity. They tried to
implement both their earlier and newer sound into one album and quite frankly, it makes the album
sound like a mess. A few songs are cool (Lost in the Echo, Castle of Glass, Roads Untravelled), but
this is so bland and uninteresting compared to ATS IMO.
It's also clear you don't understand what a concept album is...

Yeah, they've already confirmed a 6th album, will probably be out early 2014 since they have sped
their work ethic up. LP are quite rich, they have the money to make albums for years to come.

Actually, it's the perfect blend of both sounds they've had imo--not including the generic rock that was their third album.

@Immortal About Empty Spaces I completely disagree. When They Come For ME imo really brings to mind an uprising in a war-torn city. The gun shots in Empty Spaces is supposed to enhance to meaning imo which is why I don't think it's pointless.

This is probably my least favorite Linkin Park album. Great review. It's nice to see someone using legitimate criticism on this.
