i revisited some of his solo albums in full recently and a lot of the material on them sounds like retirement home soft cock
yes theres cocaine and whatnot, but a lot of tripe as well
peaked with cream, yardbirds also up there

Its strange they decided to pan the bass guitar so far left on layla, I guess this was the early days of stereo
