Demonic is the more death metal influenced one. Remember digging it a decent amount. Need to revisit though. Their latest was pretty killer also. One of the better thrash bands still going if I'm judging off of it. Haven't heard the other two more recent ones.

I keep forgetting how good this is. Like ''one of the best metal album from the 80s'' good.

The problem with "big 4"s is that they aren't real and just result in amazing bands being forgotten

For real. Both Metallica and Megadeth dont really do it for me anymore, and it really is a shame that they overshadow gems such as this one.

holy shit this is UNREAL. absolutely love this. so much ride the lightning energy on this, it's got that kind of cold feeling production. insane heavy ass riffs and solos have so much feeling. the clean breaks are so good, the closer is beautiful almost proggy. really great variety with more straightforward thrashers and more intricate ones with melodic intros. great atmosphere here.
also the vocals are much improved from the debut, really dig them. like a more unhinged hetfield, love when he goes full falsetto scream. really versatile. the aerosmith cover actually goes so hard, really made it their own. damn i've been missing out!
