I agree it's not the best review. It was my first. I was thinking of writing a second review for this, but am not sure if it's even possible. I guess it'd have to be a sound off.

I think I'm going to write a tbt soundoff. Not now though. I dont see how this review is bad in anyway.

After re-reading this whole thing, I do commend DFelon for actually being able to speak and debate properly, and despite the fact we disagree, it was well played. Well played.

I just finished listening to five tracks from this and my opinion after just hearing "Heretics and Killers" is firm. These guys aren't enjoyable at all and pretty much, plain obnoxious.

I've always loved what I heard of this album (and from when I saw them live at Every Time I Die) but never heard the full thing!

Will do now though! x

This = not post hardcore. Stop moving it. I'll concede to Metalcore as a subgenre, maybe even Post Hardcore, but this is supposed to be filed under METAL. I put it there for a reason, now stop moving it.This Message Edited On 09.02.06

Great album. Perfectly written songs, great guitar riffs, the vocals are probably my favorite ever..

Not all Canadian music is good. Nickleback, Shania Twain etc. etc.

Yeah, I saw that last night as well. It wasn't too bad but vocally it kind of sucked. Does this album sound like the "Colours" song? (I don't think that's the actual title though.)

I didn't think there was. Don't they just talk about several topics over the course of a few songs?

Yeah. The characters are more to drive their ideas than to tell a story. I mean, you can sort of create a partial plot with the lyrics, but that's not really the point. You're given really vague points of story so you focus on the ideas, at least that's how I see it. That's why the band doesn't consider this a concept album.
