'' ‘King Me’, the longest song in the band’s catalog ''
Reclamation is the longest, though not by much. Not to nitpick, just a friendly pointer!
Nice review! Love the album!

I still say songs like "Ghost Walking" are boring, but this album has some fantastic moments. I'm pleasantly surprised, in the end.

I have no idea how staff gives this a 4. They seriously know better than that. Sputnik ratings are starting to look more and more like some magazine's.
This album is a 3 at best. I've said it before, the only good thing about LOG is Mark Morton. It's not that he's all that great, he's good and he has his own recognizable sound now and that's cool.

Excellent album, I'm surprised Blythe's vocals are still improving.

In all fairness this is a band I've been listening for a looong time since high school. One of the first heavy bands I got into at a young age. It's one of the only bands that I'll come back to for a true guilty pleasure (Palaces is just so good). I've listened to this straight the past few days and it's the best they've sounded since Ashes.
Most of the riffage here is top notch, Adler's drums are pretty decent (though he reuses quite a bit of his fills/beats), and the vox are pretty great.
A couple things to note, King Me doesn't even come close to Reclaimation from Wrath as a closer, like at all. Desolution, The Undertow, The Number Six, Insurrection, Terminally Unique and visitation are must listens.
All in all this is a strong 3.5, almost a 4, pleasantly surprised. That's my analysis, I'll stop now heh.

Album is a yawn fest. But to be fair, I never really liked Lamb of God in the first place. Thought I'd give it a try again though.

I don't really like wrath all that much but this was awesome to me.

I'm a huge fan of log for the exact reason MetallicOpeth said. I just find them to be insanely fun especially live.

Love this album. The new added variation a points helped, and Blythe just sounds as amazing as ever. Gotta be one of my favorite extreme vocalists.
My only complaint, if this isn't just just a flaw in my download, is I notice very obvious distortion during guitar solos, as if they mixed it too loud and just let it clip... Still. Good stuff.

Its probably because I'm over LoG, but to me this is much worse than Wrath, and maybe a bit better
than Sacrament.
Like, all of these riffs have been done to death.

"but to me this is much worse than Wrath, and maybe a bit better

But Sacrament was a lot better than wrath

Also don't know if this was already mentionned in the comments but has anyone else noticed the glaring similarities between ghost walking and redneck?
