Ahh damn, hope everything's alright? Good to see ya back on here.

Yeah, not bad. I've been away on holiday this week, so pretty chilled.

Good to hear!

Down the north east coast of the UK -- Whitby and so forth. It's been pretty cool tbh

A lot of really mellow stuff recently - Warpaint’s Theresa Wayman released a solo album under TT, it’s pretty damn beautiful.

That, and a shit ton of Thrice haha

You?

Yeah this album has been extremely cathartic recently

Absolutely, but it’s a rare thing when the faults actually enhance the experience.

Take the shoddy combat system for example - it’s clunky and awkward, fucking frustrating at times, but it’s perfect for James. He’s not a battle hardened slayer of demons - he’s just a severely depressed, middle aged average guy who just found a stick and started swinging it hoping for the best.

Yeah, it was definitely a clever way of justifying their average game machanics. I remember them using the same excuse for sh1 and it makes sense oddly lol

The thing with SH1 is the amazing use of the limited technology available to further enhance the atmosphere - the limited drawing distance leading to opting for surrounding pitch black/fog and snow, it all fuels the atmosphere fantastically.

Goddammit, I miss Team Silent.

Someone should compile all Mary Elizabeth songs from all games in one album. I'd buy it twice.
