In pieces they stagger indebted
Rush me to the emergency room
Flatline equals frantic endeavor
But I guess this will have to do now
Patrick, short flip and outside
We're bringin it home

Wish they would go back to this style of instrumentation. So much more interesting than their current arena rock sound

Incredible album. Their first 3 are peak, but even their weaker albums contain heaters. Just a goat band.

"Lyrics about rape and murder aside, yeah."
What is meant by this? That you would prefer that rape and murder not be part of the albums story?

Consider that comment semi-sarcastic. The brutality in The Amory Wars is like the depiction of rape and pedophillia in "Dreams" by Hey. Is it an integral part of the story that makes it more compelling? Yes. Is it disturbing and unpleasant to picture? Also yes. It's a dichotomy.

It would sure be nice if they could still make songs like hearshot kid disaster once in a great while
Coheed makes more sense to me with some screams/growls/edge thrown in the mix

He'll be coming home to you

Locked, the children in the floor
