I think you are looking in the wrong directions. The question of who is better is silly, because both impacted the world so heavily that they pretty much changed music on a whole. To say one is better than the other is like saying Jupiter is better than Saturn: Why compare? This Message Edited On 05.26.06

Fine. But they can be compared.

Stubborn? Perhaps. Pig Headed? Indeed. Anywhere near your level? Not a chance.

Yeah... The other topic has already been moved on from. Pay attention. Anyway, I'm liking Coda more than this album right now.

really! wow, that's a first, for most people if it doesn't have somewhat of rock feel with a basic 4-4 rythm they move on.
Even for me, that has to be my least favorite of the full 10 disc anthology.

I know, it is rather odd. But lately, I've been feelin' it alot more than this.

I haven't particularly been feelin IV all that much, considering the fact that the initial popularity has died down, I just don't like it that much. the only reason I comment on it is because it's the only album that ever has very much discussion happening on this site.

I love this album, but I haven't listened to it in months. I find I go through cycles with Zeppelin.
|

same here. And usually if I find there's a song I cut short and skip to another, I try force myself to listen to it and see if it grows on me. This is how I started to like " All of my Love."(which is an excellent song by the way).
I also do the same thing with Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton.

I definately do that with Clapton, especially his Cream stuff. And I've always liked "All My Love".

This album IS Led Zeppelin. This should be in the Top ten rock albums of all time.

I'd say Physical Graffiti is a better example of what Zeppelin was all about.

It's a double-album, which obviously contains more tracks. It shows multiple aspects of Zeppelins' musical personality. It's got slide-blues ("In My Time of Dying"), rock-pop ("HOuses of the Holy"), Experimental/World music ("Kashmir").,, I could go on, but I'll just say there are far more diverse musical styles to Led Zeppelin than merely blues-rock and folk.

Well, Frogs is classic, isn't it?

It is kinda funny that the majority of the users have Led Zeppelinish style names.
