Shit, these guys are gonna be bigger than Beiber now.

Next time I get the urge to write, I'll keep it to OK Computer.

Yeah, I think you're right.

Summary:

This album is good or bad or just ok depending on who's listening to it.

i feel it's lacking a little bit of the umph that the band shows on other material - the depravity we heard on rato triste seems to be absent here

While part of me misses it, I really love the nuances/flourishes they have going on here and the overall effect achieved with the various guitar techniques and feedback/distortion/effects touches. And I really don't think we've seen the last of their underground death doom and Dystopia-influenced stuff. We can probably expect some more Rato Triste and Sus Futuros-type tracks later on down the pike.

really? I reckon they'll go further into the post- and melancholic side of doom. Not that it's a bad thing because they'll still leagues ahead of bands who play similar styles, but I don't think we'll hear anything remotely like pre-Paso material again. Unless the new members take over the writing process and want to go back there, but I think that's unlikely.

It's possible. Hard to say now, though, with the departures and all. I just kind of think eventually there will come a reactionary point of them wanting to go back in the other direction, be it for themselves or the fans.

So I had too much time on my hands, and I added all the Corrupted splits. They have, like, a thousand, so there's a good chance I missed a split or two.

This is good but I do prefer their older material.
