When I was 14 I was in love with this record. I thought it was the end-all to the genre, the perfect 90's Grunge album.

Years have passed, and little has changed. A classic work from start to finish.

Anybody who hasn't listened to the whole album needs to do just that - it's godlike, truly. All the songs with the possible exception of silverfuck are amazing.

I never get the dislike for Silverfuck, it's just as good as everything else on here, imo. But you're right, this album is celestial.

Probably the best Pumpkins. In retrospect, its not quite as good as i once thought it was. Some amazing songs here though

"Today" was actually about Billy thinking about killing himself, and saying that today was the greatest day because things can only get worse

I have yet to listen to this, but if it could beat my favorite album by 0.3, it must be amazing. Or Sputnikers could just really hate Nirvana. I don't know.

Best album of 93? Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) or In Utero. I hate this album, bought it and sold it. Whiny and lame.

This album is so good its nearly impossible to imagine them making a better one, but they did with Mellon Collie. Still a classic, with Geek USA in the middle summing it all up for me

I just can't get into this. Corgan's voice ruins it. I love the instrumentals, though.

This album was epic, It's by far my favourite album by any band, The songs Soma and Mayonaise could have been hit singles but they were too long to release as a single, i love how this album isnt just one or two good songs and the rest are all album fillers, you can tell that Billy put effort into every song, Great review.

I read so many reviews before i bought this album and everyone said it was the best album, and they were right, not one bad song on the album and full of high lights
