I grew up on radio music... I'm actually fairly unfamiliar with many of the 'classics.'
It always puzzles me when people remark that the clash or ramones or sex pistols were their first punk band or that Metallica or black sabbath were their first metal bands because they were definitely not mine. Not even close.
