second half goes hard warszawa is haunting

@ infamous - hard to say... most of the good ones are 'obvious'

the next day is very good if you haven't heard it yet, also lodger is very good but seems to get overlooked in favour of this and "heroes"

haven't heard anything after let's dance (cept next day) but i think omni digs either heathen or reality a lot

"are you a father?"

Yah twice over, 13yo and a 16mo.

" yet I haven't heard an Eno record before. Something I'll be looking to correct in the coming months."

If you want to hear his influential rock based stuff you can't go wrong with Here Come the Warm Jets or Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy). You can also check out the Roxy Music stuff he was present for. If you want more of the ambient stuff like Low here Ambient 1: Music For Airports is one of his most recognized.

@ViperAces as long as you're working your way through the discog make sure you hit up Heathens and maybe the Toys bootleg but Heathens is his best modern work except maybe The Next Day but I think Heathens is a little better. He seems like he really had the eye of the tiger for that one.

"what is his debut like"

It's 2.5 average rating is spot on. It sounds very much "of the time". It sounds like what you would

expect from a 1967 album but with Bowie's voice. His voice is great on that release and was clearly

developed before he started recording so I'm not sure how much of a sense of progression you'll get by

listening to it. Edit: point being, the songs are very hum drum imho.
