I don't agree with the reviews assertion that we should take Tyler seriously. His words, maybe. Their meanings, no.

This very assertion is what I was trying to get across. I don't think Tyler's actually is into (most of) the stuff he raps about, but to me, the "shock" content is symptomatic of Tyler's fucked up perception of himself, as Pitchfork notes. I guess my point is to not dismiss it solely as Tyler fucking around, as was possible to do on Bastard

who said i didn't like Odd future?

what i meant was one of the reasons i didn't like them was how they constantly self-indulge in their gimmicks and terminology n shit. i dunno i just think the word "swag" in general is really stupid i dont know.

Other than the embarrassing come at me line the reviews ok. Disagree with the opinion but whatever. Honestly the only redeeming thing about tyler is the line about stabbing Bruno Mars.

The swag thing wasn't started by Tyler btw, Lil B is responsible for that

You're so cool and anti-mainstream.

just saying, i'm pretty sure lil b did not invent the word swag, nor was i suggesting odd future did

the difference is that lil b is actually funny in that type of rhetoric

tyler is best on songs like "blow" or "assmilk" where it doesn't revolve around odd future or any of his gimmicks or come from the misunderstood artist perpsective, but is just direct, unforgiving, and doesn't acknowledge the people listening to it and their reactions.

And not one fuck was given anyways

ugh plz stop sounding like hawks
