He left a hole in our hearts when he left us to save his princess.
But Emimery's lyrics aren't overly-Christian! Except for Fix Me...
Uhmm.. if that's the case I might consider it, but my to-listen-to queue is kinda long and this isn't
a priority...

Sure. We wouldn't want the old habits of Emery threads disappear jsut because it's a different album, would we?

Same here, if there was one more track similar to those the rating would drop at least .5 for me.

Waior, don't you come in here with your Canadian speak, you foreigner.
"I agree that album is weird but have never listened to Emery before. The first half of The Curse of Perfect Days gets me all stoked then does its best to make me hate it".
It sounds like you'd really like most of 'ISSWS' then WiE.
"Album seems to be taking the majority of its influence from their previous release, The Question, which isn't a bad thing".
It was actually a tough call as to which of their previous albums this one was most similar to. If I had to decide though, it is 'The Question'... But I'm unsure there is a correct answer. & I've always meant to give Evaline a greater listen.
"whats post-hardcore's finest of 2011?"
I dunno. That summary wasn't even meant to still be up. FFAF, I guess.
"the curse of perfect days fucking rules, ... his cleans are so boring sometimes."
Ahhh Mixtape, I agreed & then I disagreed.
"scissors omg"
I think 'Scissors' is going to be the best grower on this album. It initially gets hidden a little as it comes after 'The Cheval Glass'.
Remember gents: BEHAVE.

I still haven't decided on a rating for this. There are so many moments on here I like but a lot that I dislike ("i hate , i hate , i hate this" , etc) .

Yeah, good point I guess. I just wonder if it would have stood out more later in the track listing. I can see why they put it where they did though.
Hang on, you hate the "hate, hate, hate this" line? I love it.

I love "Scissors" intro, but I adore the cleans and (kill me if you wish) the line "and here come the break down"

Dave, Evaline is awesome. Get their EP. I can almost certainly say it would be right up your musical alley.
