I prefer the vocals of the last album,but apart from the filler material of 'Empyreal (Part 2)' this is an otherwise solid release. Certainly one of the metal albums of the year.

This album is amazing. It's not really thrash in the way that it is commonly thought. If you go back to earlier thrash like Slayer or Testament and then listen to this you wouldn't think that it's thrash. Many slow parts, changes to the melody and different riffs throughout the song. It's just about perfect, for me anyway (:
