Les 5 Saisons is generally more representative of Quebec's musical traditions, and perhaps a more pastoral, organic-sounding record compared to this one. In the end they're very different kinds of albums

I prefer this, but tracks like Histoires Sans Paroles, Vert and Depuis l'Automne are masterpieces.

Well, yeah, that certainly erases all doubt about the band's cultural identity

The quebecois' accent is a part of their charm ;)

Woah, this is awesome. Prog rock doesn't normally do a huge amount for me but this is absolutely stunning.

Album sounds like falling into a fantasy children's book.... Actually gives me hardcore Spirited Away vibes

^Never made this connection before. I really enjoy this and Spirited Away, so I'll have to re-listen to this with that film in mind.

The music is truly amazing. The concept seems ingenious, I'm looking desperately for the lyrics.

"The album’s concept is based on the seven levels of consciousness of a person throughout his daily life."

As far as I know, the whole story lasts just a day, from morning to evening.

And the end of Epilogue is specular to the begin of Prologue, like a sunset and a dawn

that are repeated in a cycle. I like this kind of details, they reveal the love that they put.
