Does it really matter what he is when his voice is that good?

Actually he tried something new on this album. Take Blue Dream for instance his vocals gave me more of a Jazz feel than an R&B feel.

Blue Dream just sounds like a b-side from Jonnys solo album, with Mess parts tacked on after the hook.

I wish the entire album had the consistency of Privilously/Swan Soup.. despite Privilously feeling SLIGHTLY disjointed, i think these two songs embody the ideal dgd sound. The breakdown in Swan Soup is unnecessary, that being said. But it's one of the only songs where it feels like Jonnys hook is going well with the music.. totally just blabbering here

i honestly think that jonny being 'tacked' on is for the better lol...yes they should have let him wail and be more agressive for atleast one or two songs, but for this album i love just hearing him in the backround and not caring what he's saying lol. its just soothing, and mess is just really entertaining/catchy...idk im rambling but i think this works out really well, espically on songs like heat seeking, blue dream, privilously, need money etc. the few times jonny does stand out, its pretty entertaining...see privilously for starters
